Delivering Justice Fairly and Efficiently
Transparent, Inclusive, and Accessible Court Services
The Judiciary of Guam serves as the independent judicial branch of the Government of Guam, responsible for administering justice, interpreting the law, and ensuring the fair and efficient resolution of legal matters. It is composed of the Supreme Court of Guam, which serves as the highest appellate court, and the Superior Court of Guam, which handles trial-level cases across civil, criminal, family, juvenile, probate, and traffic matters. Through its courts, the Judiciary upholds the rule of law, protects individual rights, and provides due process to all persons within its jurisdiction.
Beyond adjudication, the Judiciary delivers a wide range of public-facing services designed to support access to justice and transparency. These include records and clearance services, electronic filing systems, jury administration, accessibility accommodations, public information requests, and community outreach programs. By integrating technology with judicial operations and maintaining dedicated divisions such as the Clerk’s Office, Jury Administration, and Marshal Services, the Judiciary ensures that court services remain accessible, efficient, and responsive to the needs of the community it serves.
